The Lifecycle

  1. SEED Stage

    The main challenge is to get the first customers or experiences in the Market for validation.

  2. PROJECT to PROJECT stage

    There is a difficulty to gain inertia, although step by step they increase customer projects and they identify new attractive segments with potential.

  3. UPSCALING Stage

    Main challenges here are related with decisions such as:Produce or subcontract, Develop the organization, Selection of key suppliers and channels, Financial planning and control.

  4. EXPANSION Stage

    Key challenges here are organizational structure and delegation of decision power.

  5. CONSOLIDATION Stage

    It shows the maturity of company, where Sales, Profits, Cash Flow stay steady or slow down. The main challenge is the diversification of the business.

  6. RENEWAL Stage

    The renewal of the portfolio is produced through Open Innovation strategies or through creating independent internal teams. The main challenge in this stage is related with reluctance to change.
