Martin has developed know-how in all areas which are essential for a successful coaching experience. He has experience over 25 years incorporate finance and M&A. He has an Executive MBA from IMD and is managing partner at PKF in Austria, focusing on deep-tech SMEs. In addition, he is a certified coach under the EIC Accelerator Program.

Since 2014 I coached over 200+ deep tech companies in Europe to cross the valley of death. I helped 40+ high-tech SMEs to raise money with international tech investors in Europe, US and Asia. I also invested myself as a Business Angel in five tech start-ups and managed one exit successfully.

My Approach to Coaching

I have asked myself a question: what are the key learnings I take away from my coaching so far ? What have deep tech companies that crossed the value of death successfully in common? Why do some tech companies succeed while others fail? To give an answer I have developed a methodology called “Playing to win” which is in the center of my coaching approach.
